Full job description

We are seeking a Civil Earthworks Supervisor/Foreman with previous experience for our operations Alberta.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license, and be willing to travel
  • Should have a vast knowledge of Earthworks operations including civil earthworks, forestry, reclamation and oilsands.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of all legislation and regulations that are applicable to civil earthworks construction
  • Previous Supervisory Experience
  • Must have Standard First Aid, H2S, Ground Disturbance II, WHMIS 2015, TDG and CSTS 2020 and CSO tickets.
  • Leadership for Safety Excellence Training will be considered an asset
  • Must be willing to adhere to all of our company health and safety policies including our Drug and Alcohol Policy

Skills:

  • Strong safety leadership skills and the ability to identify and reduce risk throughout operations
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with government agencies, contractors, suppliers, First Nations and stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly interactive team environment
  • Detail and results oriented
  • Willingness to Operate Equipment between projects when a supervisory role is unavailable will be considered an asset

Location and Relocation
This position may be required to work in various locations throughout Alberta. Camp or hotel accommodations will provided when required while on rotation.
