ABOUT US

We build water treatment plants in our factory in North Surrey for small communities, first nations and industry, www.komlinepurewater.com, our facility includes a CWB certified fabrication shop and plumbing/pipefitting shop. We require a leadhand/foreman to help in building plants, organising, developing and leading our trades staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor you will safely assist in organising trades staff, materials and work flow as well as hands on building of equipment skids and fabrications

- Repairs and maintains equipment in a skilled trade area.

- Required to train/in-service employees on equipment usage and methods as necessary.

- Repair, construct, install, troubleshoot, and maintain systems and equipment.

- Willing to learn new techniques..

- Ability to work unsupervised.

WHAT YOU OFFER

- EXPERIENCE: Three or more years of lead foreman experience and meets position requirements.

- SPECIALIZED SKILLS: Experience in CWB level fabrication and/or industrial pipefitting/plumbingHigh level interpersonal relationship skills, proficiency in communication

Must be computer literate. Forklift experience preferred.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Day shift

- Overtime available per job basis

Ability to commute/relocate:

Some travel is required, must be able to be out of town up to 2 weeks 3-4 times a year.
