Position Overview:

LawDepot is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Content Implementation Specialist in Edmonton, Alberta. In this role, you will play a hands-on part in building and launching interactive web products using our internal Content Management Systems (CMS). From creating document templates to refining questionnaires and publishing updates, you will help ensure our products are intuitive, high quality, and easy to use. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week with opportunities in office or hybrid.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and publish document templates using multiple low-code or no-code Content Management System (CMS) platforms

  • Write and edit questionnaire content to create clear, intuitive user experiences

  • Conduct research and user testing to improve the customer experience

  • Assess the viability of new product ideas and features to expand document offerings

  • Prepare clear and actionable feature requests for the Development team

  • Create and manage project plans, track progress, and make changes to the project scope when needed

  • Perform peer reviews to maintain consistency and quality across products

  • Collaborate with our Legal, Research, Design, Development, and QA departments to create powerful documents

  • Analyze product and sales performance to identify opportunities for improvements

  • Develop and apply best practices for building and optimizing web products

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Web Development (ex. DMIT), Writing, Communications, Business, Information Technology, Library or other relevant fields

  • Ability to learn, utilize, and troubleshoot various types of CMS platforms

  • Strong logical thinking skills, with the ability to apply structured reasoning within systems and tools (e.g., if/then logic)

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or basic web development concepts

  • Ability to identify opportunities, propose improvements, and suggest new ideas

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Understanding of Product Management principles and best practices

  • Ability to identify and prioritize high-impact business objectives

  • Understanding of conversion optimization, consumer psychology, and online marketing would be an asset
