Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary wellness team, with a focus on supporting individuals recovering from Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVAs). This role is ideal for a clinician who values client-centered care and wants to make a meaningful impact on people navigating physical, emotional, and psychological recovery.

You’ll work in a supportive, collaborative environment alongside other health professionals, helping clients manage trauma, pain-related stress, anxiety, mood changes, and adjustment challenges following accidents.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide psychological assessment and treatment for clients involved in MVAs.
  • Support clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, PTSD, or adjustment-related concerns
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and client goals
  • Complete required clinical documentation, progress notes, and reports for MVA cases in accordance with regulatory and insurer guidelines
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support holistic recovery
  • Educate clients on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and recovery-focused tools
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical practice

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Psychologist (or eligible for registration) in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
  • Experience working with MVA patients and third-party insurers is a strong asset
  • Training or experience in trauma-informed care, CBT, pain management, or rehabilitation psychology is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with diverse clients
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • A compassionate, professional approach with genuine interest in client recovery

Why Join Our Team?

  • Supportive, collaborative, and wellness-focused environment
  • Consistent referral base, including MVA clients
  • Opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Flexible scheduling options (full-time or part-time)
  • Meaningful, rewarding work helping clients rebuild after injury and trauma

If you’re a Psychologist who values empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based care—and want to support clients through recovery and resilience—we’d love to hear from you.
