**Job Title:** Pharmacy Assistant
**Job Type:** Full-Time
** Start Date:** Immediate
**Location:** Approximately 2 hours north of Ottawa, ON
**Hourly Rate:** $60 per hour

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Support pharmacists in filling prescriptions and preparing blister packs
  • Assist with packaging and labeling of pharmaceutical items
  • Maintain accurate prescription records and manage medication inventory
  • Document and track pharmaceutical stock
  • Prioritize duties to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Order, receive, and oversee medication supplies
  • Review invoices and supply chain paperwork
  • Keep the dispensary and work areas tidy and organized
  • Check expiration dates to ensure shelf items remain usable

**Qualifications:**
  • 1–3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
  • Experience with pharmacy systems (e.g., Kroll, PharmaClick, Nexxsys, Fillware) is a plus; training is available
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Effective English communication, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
