Responsibilities:

- Ensure the team to create and implement exciting and interactive activities and curriculum that promote the holistic development of children.

- Inspire and guide a team of talented childcare providers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality care.

- Foster a warm and welcoming work environment that prioritizes the wellbeing of educators.

- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and our center's policies and procedures.

- Foster open communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions.

- Collaborate with staff members to build a positive and inclusive environment that encourages children's learning and growth.

- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track the progress and development of each child.

- Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, enrollment management, marketing, schedule coordination and etc.

- Any duties assigned.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to legally work in Canada.

- Valid degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

- Must be registered and a member in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators.

- Current CPR and First Aid certification, and Police Vulnerable Sector Check.

- Must be up to date on all required immunizations and TB.

- Minimum 5 years of experience of managing a childcare centre in a supervisory role.

- Expertise in child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and external stakeholders.

- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and etc.

- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

- Excellent understanding of “Child Care and Early Years Act 2014” CCEYA, “How Does Learning Happen?” and ELECT.

-Preferably speaks mandarin
