New Beginnings Early Years Center, located in Lake Country, BC, is looking for Infant Toddler Educators to join our team as we prepare to open a third INFANT TODDLER CLASSROOM. We now have two locations in Lake Country and continue to grow and provide staff with opportunities for professional growth.

New Beginnings’ Programs provide an environment that fosters curiosity and exploration in our young children, while nurturing and building trusting relationships between child, educator, and family. We respect and appreciate the importance of family rhythms and routines and strive to build a genuine connection with not only the child, but the family as well, so that together we can support the unique needs of the child and of the family. Healthy relationships combined with indoor/outdoor spaces that are designed with care to create opportunities for learning, and exploration, encourages the natural growth of confident and happy little learners.

Job Overview:
We are seeking passionate Educators to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience working with young children, a background in early childhood education, and a genuine desire to educate and nurture young minds.

Duties:

- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early educational standards
- Foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs
- Mentor junior staff and set standards for program excellence
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Infant Toddler Educator is essential

- British Columbia IT Certification is Mandatory

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Valid Emergency First Aid Certification for Child Care as per Child Care Regulations

- Criminal Record check required

- 3 references

- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds using proper technique to ensure healthy back
