The Opportunity

Estimated Start Time: Last Week of September/ First Week of October (Flexible)

Kēlo Cannabis is looking for passionate and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Retail Guides (Budtenders). This position is part-time with on-call availability, and evening and weekend shifts are required. If you love connecting with people, learning about cannabis, and creating positive customer experiences, we’d love to meet you.

The Position is currently expected to offer 2-4 shifts a week, with on-calls offering potential for more hours. Any candidate chosen for the position may have the opportunity for more shifts weekly in the coming months. Great opportunity for any students wanting to pick up a few evening shifts this semester!!!

Excellent earning potential through in-store and delivery tips plus commission on top of wage.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance on cannabis products, cannabinoids, terpenes, and consumption methods.
  • Make personalized product recommendations while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with store upkeep including restocking, merchandising, and cleanliness.
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends.
  • Opening and closing store duties

Qualifications

  • Must be 19+.
  • Selling It Right certification (completed before first day of work).
  • Evening, weekend, and on-call availability required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for cannabis education and customer service.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • Must have a BC drivers license and be comfortable doing deliveries in company car.
