Alberta Hardwood Flooring has been serving Alberta's residential builders, commercial contractors, and multifamily developers for over 40 years. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an energetic Builder Sales & Design Consultant to join our Edmonton team.

If you enjoy working with homebuyers, have an eye for design, and thrive in a customer-focused environment, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with homeowners purchasing new homes to complete flooring selections
  • Guide customers through hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate, carpet, tile, and area rug options
  • Create an enjoyable and stress-free design experience
  • Prepare quotes and process customer upgrades
  • Coordinate selections with builders and project managers
  • Maintain strong relationships with our builder partners
  • Stay current on flooring trends and new product launches
  • Help merchandise and maintain our showroom

What We're Looking For

  • Sales or customer service experience (flooring, cabinetry, kitchens, interiors, or home building preferred)
  • Passion for interior design and helping customers create beautiful homes
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Valid driver's license

Bonus Skills

  • Flooring or interior design experience
  • Builder design centre experience
  • Knowledge of flooring installation and construction
  • Experience with estimating or quoting software
