We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team. Position Details
Job Title: Accounts Administrator

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required
Work Location: In Person

Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience is required.
- Previous hands-on experience with QuickBooks is mandatory.
- Applicants without previous QuickBooks experience will not be considered.
- Completion of high school is required. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Previous experience working for a transportation, trucking, logistics, or freight company will be considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping procedures, and account reconciliation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Creating, processing, and sending customer invoices.
- Recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Performing bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
- Following up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment collections.
- Processing vendor invoices and preparing payments.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting procedures.
- Maintaining customer, vendor, and company records in QuickBooks.
- Preparing reports and spreadsheets for management review.
- Assisting with payroll-related administrative functions when required.
- Supporting daily office and administrative operations.
- Filing, organizing, and maintaining accounting and operational documents.
- Communicating professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
