Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented full-time Office Manager & Bookkeeper to join our team. This role blends front-office client interaction with hands-on bookkeeping responsibilities and is ideal for someone who enjoys both administrative coordination and financial work in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Administrative Duties

· Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

· Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails

· Schedule appointments and manage team calendars

· Maintain organized filing systems (digital and paper)

· Handle incoming/outgoing mail and courier deliveries

· Provide administrative support to accountants and management

Bookkeeping Duties

· Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)

· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

· Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

· Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledgers

· Support GST/PST filings and other compliance requirements

Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or bookkeeping role

· Working knowledge of basic accounting principles

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)

· Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software

· Strong customer service and communication skills

· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

· High attention to detail and accuracy

Education

Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

Compensation & Benefits

· Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 per year, based on experience

· Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
