This position is an existing vacancy.
As a Buisness Operations Specialist, Back Office, you are responsible for supporting core corporate business functions such as Oversight, Corporate Projects, DXC Transformation, and act as Business Unit Compliance Liaison.
You will:
- Review operational results, service levels, exception trends to identify issues, gaps, etc.
- Coordinate with DXC and internal stakeholders to investigate service issues, track action items, and support timely resolution
- Maintain oversight documentation, escalate material concerns, and provide updates
- Provide ongoing support of the Records Management program, and department level liaisons, to ensure governance
- Create process flow charts, value stream maps and document process and procedures
- Back up and Support Front Office /Back Office Transformation Functions
- Attend regular meetings related to DXC activities and provide assistance
- Participate in project reviews to determine DXC impact, and review design specs, business requirements
- Attend Business Unit Compliance meetings; develop controls and define policies and procedures for compliance requirements identifying inherent risks/gaps and best practices
- Understand current and new regulatory requirements and impact to business units
- Identify regulatory compliance training needs
What we are looking for…
- 5 – 7 years experience in Life Insurance Industry (front and/or back office) and Process Improvement
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Successful completion of LOMA parts 1 and 2
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment
- Postsecondary education in Business, Finance, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field
