## Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and caring Respite worker/Nanny to provide attentive care for our fun and affectionate special needs son . This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a loving family in a nurturing environment.

## Responsibilities

- Engage in appropriate activities and play to foster learning and skill development

- Prepare and serve meals and snacks

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all

- Attend activities in the community that support socialization and integration

- Provide compassionate caregiving

- Be comfortable in dealing with cognitive and physical disabilities

- Administer medication as needed

## Requirements

- Prior experience working with children is preferred

- Ability to cook, clean, and assist with meal preparation

- Willingness and ability to engage in educational/physical activities with the child

- Strong communication skills and patience when interacting with special needs children

- Reliable transportation to a rural area (close to town)

- Training for the right candidate will be provided. If you love kids and helping them succeed, that is the best skill and quality you can have!

Pay: $20.51 per hour
