At Nixon Automotive, cars aren't just what we work on — they're what we're passionate about. We're a BMW & MINI specialty shop built around technicians who take pride in their craft, enjoy solving problems and genuinely want to keep getting better.

We take what we do seriously, but we also believe you should enjoy coming to work and have some fun doing it.

We're looking for another Red Seal technician who feels the same way.

What We Offer

The Work

The work is varied — from maintenance and mechanical repairs to diagnostics, electrical issues, programming and BMW-specific repairs.

As we get to know your strengths and capabilities, we assign work that makes the best use of your skills while giving you opportunities to continue developing.

Nixon Automotive has been operating from our Burnaby location since 1970. We've built a loyal customer base and a strong reputation by doing things properly — quality repairs, accurate diagnostics and standing behind our work.

Who We're Looking For

  • Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification
  • BMW or European experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic aptitude
  • Genuine interest and enthusiasm for cars
  • Curious, problem-solving mindset
  • Pride in workmanship
  • Dependable, professional and personable
  • Valid BC driver's licence with a safe driving record
  • Comfortable and proficient driving manual-transmission vehicles
  • Technicians provide their own standard hand tools; Nixon provides BMW specialty tools, diagnostic equipment and technical resources
