Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive high-end vehicle sales at our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and expertise in outside sales, B2B sales, and retail sales. This role involves developing strategic sales pipelines, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Fluency in English or being bilingual is highly desirable to serve our diverse clientele effectively. The Automotive Sales Manager will play a key role in implementing marketing strategies, supporting sales support activities, and upselling premium vehicles to meet dealership goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and dealership sales targets, focusing on high volume sales of Honda and Used vehicles.
  • Develop and manage an effective sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities through outside sales efforts and networking.
  • Conduct negotiation with clients, including B2B transactions, to close deals that maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, providing guidance on upselling premium features or packages.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service throughout the buying experience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Support the team with sales support activities such as product knowledge training, CRM management, and follow-up procedures.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, local regulations, and ethical standards during all sales activities.
  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics using organizational tools.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably within a dealership or automotive environment.
  • Strong background in outside sales, B2B sales, and retail sales with a focus on luxury or high-end vehicles.
  • Excellent communication skills, including effective phone etiquette and persuasive negotiation abilities.
  • Multilingual skills, especially fluency in English or being bilingual, are highly advantageous for serving diverse customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a robust sales pipeline through strategic prospecting and networking efforts.
  • Experience with dealership operations, including familiarity with inventory management, marketing initiatives, and customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively, providing mentorship and support to achieve collective goals.
