Job Overview
Camco Electric is growing, and we are looking for motivated Apprentice Electricians to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than just a job. We are looking for people who want to learn the trade, work with a solid crew, build real skills, and be part of a company that takes pride in doing great work while having some fun along the way.

At Camco, you will work alongside experienced electricians on commercial and service projects, gaining hands-on experience in the field while learning the right way to do things. Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Electrician, you will:

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

Work closely with journeyperson electricians and foremen to learn proper installation methods, jobsite expectations, and trade best practices.

Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Help read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements.

Assist with low-voltage wiring, conduit, cable installation, lighting, distribution, and other electrical tasks under supervision.

Follow company safety procedures and jobsite safety requirements.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional.

Support the team with troubleshooting and problem-solving as issues come up.

Show up with a positive attitude, ready to learn, contribute, and be part of the crew.

Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

A strong interest in the electrical trade.

Basic experience with hand tools and power tools.

A willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction.

A basic understanding of electrical systems is an asset.

The ability to read or learn how to read blueprints and schematics.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills.

A positive attitude and team-first mindset.

A strong work ethic and pride in doing quality work.
