We are currently seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of ServiceNow implementation and enhancement initiatives for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in IT service management, project delivery methodologies, and the ServiceNow platform, along with proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects.
- Facilitate project planning sessions, define timelines, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, business analysts, and ServiceNow developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business and stakeholder requirements.
- Apply ITIL and ITSM best practices to ensure alignment with service management goals.
- Track and manage project progress using tools such as ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM), JIRA, or MS Project.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow governance frameworks and deployment best practices.
- Monitor project performance using KPIs and provide executive dashboards and status reports.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and coordinate go-live and deployment processes.
- Support organizational change management initiatives and drive user adoption strategies.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in IT service delivery or enterprise platform implementations.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing ServiceNow projects (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or SecOps modules preferred).
- Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks such as ITIL v3 or ITIL v4.
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow SDLC, configuration practices, and platform capabilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and cross-functional teams effectively.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
- Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (ITSM preferred)
- ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
