Full job description

Overview
CRL Synergy, one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing suppliers of control label products, we’re looking for a Project Manager to own the end-to-end coordination of product development through launch. This role connects an overseas team with internal Buying, Product Development, and Artwork/Creative teams—plus external clients—so work moves smoothly from concept to production and delivery. You’ll build clear pathways, timelines, and accountability across multiple stakeholders using our project management tools within a custom ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive development-to-launch execution: Create and manage workflows that move projects from initial development through approvals, production readiness, and launch.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Act as the central point of contact between overseas partners and internal Buying, Product Development, and Artwork teams.
  • Client communication & alignment: Coordinate milestones, deliverables, and approvals with clients; ensure expectations are clear and changes are documented.
  • Project planning & scheduling: Build project plans, define critical paths, track dependencies, and maintain milestone calendars across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Requirements & handoffs: Translate inputs (client needs, product specs, artwork requirements) into clear tasks and handoffs between teams.
  • Risk & issue management: Identify bottlenecks early (capacity, approvals, materials, artwork revisions, vendor constraints), escalate appropriately, and drive resolution.
  • System ownership: Maintain project records, tasks, and status updates in a project management system embedded in a custom ERP; ensure data accuracy and visibility.
  • Process improvement: Standardize pathways, templates, and checklists to improve speed, clarity, and on-time launches.

What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)

  • Active projects have clear timelines, owners, and next steps visible in the ERP.
  • Cross-team handoffs are consistent, with fewer missed details and fewer late-stage surprises.
  • Overseas coordination runs on a predictable cadence (check-ins, deliverable schedules, escalation paths).
  • Clients receive proactive updates and approvals are tracked cleanly.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience in a cross-functional environment (product development, sourcing, manufacturing, creative/production, or similar).
  • Proven ability to coordinate work across time zones and diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills—able to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and changing priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; confident leading follow-ups and driving accountability.
  • Comfort working in structured systems (ERP, PM tools, task/workflow software) and maintaining high-quality project data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in product development lifecycle, sourcing/production, or consumer goods manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with artwork/creative production workflows (briefing, revisions, approvals, print-ready files).
  • Experience building or improving SOPs, templates, and launch pathways.
  • Exposure to custom ERP systems or integrated PM modules.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Stakeholder management (internal teams, overseas partners, clients)
  • Workflow design and process mapping
  • Timeline and dependency management
  • Detail-oriented follow-through and documentation discipline
  • Calm, proactive problem-solving under deadline pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$72,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Dental care
  • Disability insurance
  • Extended health care
  • Life insurance
  • On-site gym
  • On-site parking
  • Vision care
