We are a smaller sized firm located in the northern part of Toronto committed to providing close, personal attention to our clients. We take pride in giving clients the assurance that the assistance they receive comes from years of advanced training, technical experience and financial acumen. Our continual investment of time and resources in professional continuing education, state-of-the-art computer technology and extensive business relationships is indicative of our commitment to excellence.

As a result of our continued growth we are looking for a CPA, CA with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Canadian public accounting firm, with a focus on planning, managing and reviewing Audit and Assurance engagements. Our firm offers a mix of large and small assurance engagements and a high level of commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the planning, managing and review of client year-end files with a focus on audit and review engagements

· Prepare financial statements and notes

· Reviewing work and files done by junior staff

· Assist in training of new students

Qualifications:

· A minimum 3 years of work experience in a Canadian public accounting firm with a focus on assurance engagements

· Passed the CFE

· Strong technical skills and knowledge of the handbook

· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment

· Experience with and interest in not-for-profit entities

· Must be computer literate with thorough knowledge of Caseware/Caseview, and Excel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
