Full job description
- Prepare, review, and organize immigration applications including but not limited to temporary residence, permanent residence, sponsorships, work permits, study permits, and related submissions
Bonus / Strong Asset
- Prior experience or working knowledge of Canadian immigration law and procedures
- Familiarity with IRCC portals, forms, and online submission systems
- Experience working in a law firm or immigration consultancy
- Assist with case file management from intake to decision, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IRCC requirements
- Draft and format legal documents, correspondence, forms, affidavits, and submissions under supervision
- Maintain accurate client records, calendars, deadlines, and follow-ups
- Communicate professionally with clients, government authorities, and third parties via email, phone, and written correspondence
- Conduct initial document checks and ensure supporting evidence meets program requirements
- Track application statuses and update clients on progress
- Assist with client intake, onboarding, and collection of required documentation
- Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with professional and ethical standards
- Support the firm with administrative and clerical tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations,
Arabic Language is an asset
