Full job description

Client Relationship & Account Manager
We're looking for a Great new team member for our Client Services team.

What are we looking for?

First & foremost - we're looking for someone that fits with our organization and our team.
---

Occu-Med conducts employee health testing and hearing testing throughout Southern Ontario, mostly at client locations. Our nurses & technicians go to factories, car dealerships, law firms, you name it ... if our client has people that need testing, we go to them.

The Client Services team is tasked with talking to our clients regularly, and setting up the jobs and services that our nurses, technicians and doctors deliver.

Our first priority is to serve our clients by providing top notch service, and we have a high percentage of repeat clients, some of which have been with us for more than 30 years!

We want someone who has a passion for helping people. Previous sales or customer service experience is required, and a knowledge of health and safety would be an asset.

The Job:

Description:

In this position you will be responsible for helping to maintain and grow our client base by:

  • doing your best to keep clients on schedule!
  • calling existing clients to schedule repeat & follow-up visits (many clients are tested annually or on a 2 to 3 year cycle)
  • responding to inbound requests from existing clients and referrals, addressing their needs and providing information about our services.
  • Handling the “Quote to Job” process – generating quotes, service agreements and setting up the details for client assignments.

Key Requirements

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to follow a process to completion.
  • Drivers license: you may need to actually visit clients in person

(note: we have company cars for this)

  • Must have the ‘gift of gab’ and always be friendly but professional when talking to or meeting clients.
  • Willingness to talk to clients .. we need old school phone calls, not just text & email.
  • Ability to investigate and problem solve. Willingness to learn, read, and get help from others.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as a good computer literacy.

In addition, the successful applicant will have:

  • Good ability to communicate in English, since communicating with clients is a key requirement.
  • Outstanding willingness to serve others and to learn new things. Occupational Health is ever changing, and we pride ourselves on being inventive and offering solutions.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism when working under stress

We offer:

  • Compensation based on base wage plus incentives.
  • Reasonably flexible vacation schedule | We don't usually work between Christmas & New Year's; and we are reasonable with vacation planning and time-off requests.
  • Employee Benefits | We offer group insurance & benefits, including health, drug coverage, and a health spending account.
  • Additional learning opportunities | We cross-train many employees and provide additional growth opportunities.

We expect:

  • That you be willing to work with the team - and pitch in when necessary.
  • That all team members be able to work as part of a peer team where we expect you to offer your opinion and thoughts.
  • That you be passionate about presenting your ideas during discussion - but know that we all head in the same direction once the decision is made.
