Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing and food preparation areas. This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned , sanitized, and ready for use, helping the kitchen operate smoothly and efficiently

Dishwasher Kitchen Helper Key Responsibility

• Wash and sanitize dishes , glassware,utensils , pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, kitchen floors and trash areas
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned, sanitized and stored properly
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks as needed
• Empty garbage cans and transport waste to the disposal area in compliance with health and safety standards
• Restock clean dishes and utensils to appopriate areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures as directed by management

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Previous experience a restaurant or commercial kitchen is an asset but not required
• Must be reliable and punctual

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift upto 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a hot , humid kitchen environment
• Frequent standing , bending and reaching

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
