Child & Youth and/or Bilingual (French/English) Counselling Roles
SAGE Counselling Services is a multidisciplinary network of social workers, counsellors, psychologists, and mediators committed to improving timely access to high‑quality, bilingual mental health services across New Brunswick. We provide in‑person, phone, and virtual counselling grounded in evidence‑based practice.
Current Opportunities
SAGE is expanding its network of service providers in two priority areas. Applicants may apply to one or both roles.
Role 1: Child and Youth Counsellor (Ages 5+)
Provide assessment, counselling, and intervention services to children and youth, and work collaboratively with families.
- In‑person services in the Moncton region
- Experience working with children and/or youth required
- Training or experience in trauma‑informed practice, play therapy, or behavioural approaches is an asset
Role 2: Bilingual Counsellor (French/English – Youth & Adults)
Provide counselling services to francophone youth and adult clients.
- Full professional fluency in French and English required
- In‑person services in the Moncton region
- Virtual service delivery available to clients across New Brunswick
- Open to providers located anywhere in the province
Qualifications (All Applicants)
1) Master’s degree in social work, counselling, or psychology
2) Active registration with one of the following:
- New Brunswick Association of Social Workers
- College of Psychologists of New Brunswick
- College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick
Work Structure
