Responsibilities and Duties:
- Involvement in the planning and implementation for each clients individualized care and behaviour plan
- Provide hand on care for each client in a safe, respectful, effective and responsible manner
- Recognize each individual differences, values and beliefs
- Support each persons activity plan
- Demonstrate crisis intervention skills
- Promote an environment and program that is both supportive and nurturing
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector check (Valid within 6 months)
- Experience working with children and youth an asset
- Current CPR & First Aid
- Current First Aid
- Valid drivers licence
- Clear and current driver’s abstract
Must be able to work Evenings and Weekends
