Job Summary

We are currently seeking to fill one Full-Time Assistant Supervisor's position. The successful candidate should possess strong leadership skills, commitment, skilled at promoting good communication and professional accountability within their team environment, dedicated to effecting change and working with various types of clients who present a range of challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assistant Supervisors are responsible to help with the smooth operation of the program during times when the supervisor is not on shift. Report directly to the Supervisor.
  • Assistant Supervisors effectively supervise, train, and orient staff to the designated programs and individuals
  • Able to fulfil on-call duties to support multi programs during rotation schedule.
  • May act as a Primary Worker to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ISP's and interventions for the individuals in collaboration with the program supervisor, case managers, physicians, parents, and other community members
  • Adhering to all CRSS Policy & Procedures and Quality Assurance Measures compliances.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Child Youth Worker diploma, Developmental Service Worker, Social Service Worker, OR a degree/diploma in a related field combined with 5+ years of frontline experience
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and administrative skills as well as effective interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with a variety of Agency staff, external professionals and individuals.
  • Computer literacy including Windows, Google Workspace, accurate database entry, and continuously developing technology proficiency.
  • Satisfactory clearance under the Police Reference Check program (VSS). Medical clearance in accordance with CRSS policy on pre-employment medicals.
  • Must hold valid, current First Aid and CPR, UMAB certificates as well as a Driver’s G License and satisfactory results on a Driver’s Abstract.
