We are committed to honoring the cultural heritage of Indigenous children and youth and implementing the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action. We understand that incorporating traditional practices such as smudging, talking circles, and storytelling, can honor holistic approaches to healing and prioritize the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit, and community/land. The ideal candidate is passionate about empowering young people, has experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, and demonstrates strong teaching and communication skills. This role is essential in creating a supportive environment where Indigenous youth can thrive academically, socially, and culturally.
