Purpose:
The eLearning Support Assistant provides technical and administrative support for the Computing Services department, under the direction of the Manager, IT Infrastructure and Operations.

Education:
Completion of the 1st year in a post-secondary diploma or degree program in Computer Science, Instructional Technology, Education, or related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 1-year experience in technical support or related field.

Skills:
Ability to communicate with others to explain and share information.
Ability to provide instruction and support others in developing knowledge or skills.
Ability to demonstrate organizational skills to carry out a variety of tasks.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to deal courteously and effectively with people.
Knowledge of online learning management systems and tools (such as Moodle/Canvas).
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and experience with static and animated display ads (JPG, PNG, GIF, SWF, HTML5).
