General Manager – Pizza Toni (West Island)
At Pizza Toni, we take our pizza seriously—but we know the real magic comes from the people behind it. We are the busiest independent pizza shop in the city, known for our New York–style and Grandma–style pizzas. We offer delivery (via UberEats, our own website, and DoorDash), in-store and phone pickup, and we sell slices straight from the counter.
We’re a growing company—originally opened in 2020, with Saint-Henri as our second brick-and-mortar location and West Island opening in October as our third.
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our brand new West Island location opening in October 2026, inspire our team, and keep our operation running smoother than a perfectly stretched dough.
What You’ll Do
As General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind every part of our restaurant’s success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Complete oversight of day-to-day operations
- Hiring, onboarding, and training new staff members
- Inventory management and ordering supplies
- Pizza making and ensuring product quality
- Delivering exceptional customer service and handling guest concerns
- Leading and motivating a team of 20 employees
- Creating and managing staff schedules
- Performing minor equipment maintenance when needed
- Collaborating with ownership to develop and implement systems and processes
- Maintaining strict quality control standards in every area of the business
- Developing a strong knowledge of our POS system (Lightspeed K-Series) and using it effectively for operations
- Contributing ideas for and helping to create monthly specials
- Running performance evaluations for staff members and providing feedback for growth

- Proven experience in restaurant management (pizza or high-volume experience a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and hold a team accountable
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on attitude—you’re as comfortable on the line as you are in the office

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Vos responsabilités
En tant que Gérant(e) Général(e), vous serez la force motrice derrière le succès quotidien du restaurant. Vos tâches comprendront :
- Supervision complète des opérations quotidiennes
- Embauche, intégration et formation de nouveaux employés
- Gestion des stocks et commandes de fournitures
- Préparation des pizzas et garantie de la qualité des produits
- Service à la clientèle exceptionnel et gestion des plaintes
- Encadrement et motivation d’une équipe de 20 employés
- Création et gestion des horaires de travail
- Petites réparations et entretien de l’équipement au besoin
- Collaboration avec la direction pour développer et implanter des systèmes et processus
- Maintien de standards stricts de contrôle de la qualité dans toutes les opérations
- Développer une solide connaissance de notre système de caisse (Lightspeed K-Series) et l’utiliser efficacement dans les opérations
- Participer à l’élaboration des spéciaux mensuels
- Effectuer des évaluations de performance pour les membres de l’équipe et fournir une rétroaction constructive
Profil recherché
- Expérience confirmée en gestion de restaurant (expérience en pizza ou en environnement à grand volume un atout)
- Solides compétences en leadership et capacité à inspirer et mobiliser une équipe
- Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles et de résolution de problèmes
- Esprit pratique : à l’aise autant en cuisine qu’en gestion administrative
- Excellentes compétences en communication, avec la clientèle et l’équipe
- Disponibilité pour travailler selon un horaire flexible, incluant soirs et fins de semaine
