Full job description

A full-time ECE/ECE Student position starting August 2026. Please note that the daycare centre is located in northern Richmond Hill, Oak Ridges (Yonge St. and King Rd. intersection) and, therefore, please submit your application only if the distance is practicable for you. Only those candidates who live in the following municipalities: Richmond Hill, City of Vaughan, Markham, Whitchurch-Stouffville, King, Aurora, Newmarket, East Gwillimbury, and Bradford West Gwillimbury will be contacted.

Job Qualifications: ECE: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma or equivalent; ECE student: The individual is currently studying Early Childhood Education; Up-to-date First Aid / CPR (including infant and child CPR); Up-to-date Police Vulnerable Sector Check; Up-to-date TB Test; Up-to-date Immunization record; Team oriented personality; Passion to work with children; Ability to use frequent light to medium physical effort such as lifting up to 20 kg (44 lbs.), bending and stooping; Must be able to work outdoors for at least 2 hours per day.

Work Schedule: Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: Approximately 35 - 40 hours/week, flexibility between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.86-$26.40 per hour
