Full job description

Dental Administrator / Front Desk ReceptionistJoin a Team That Truly Loves What We Do!

Are you an experienced Dental Administrator looking for a practice where your skills are appreciated, your ideas are valued, and your team genuinely enjoys coming to work?

Or perhaps you're someone with a positive attitude, a passion for helping people, and a willingness to learn. If so, we'd love to meet you.

At Barrie Smile Centre, we're proud of the culture we've built. We believe exceptional patient care begins the moment someone picks up the phone or walks through our front door. We're looking for someone who shares that philosophy and wants to be part of a team that strives to deliver a 5-star patient experience every single day.

We're a modern, fully digital dental practice located in Barrie (South End), and we're growing! While experience is certainly an asset, we're not in a rush to hire—we're looking for the right person. Personality, professionalism, and a genuine desire to learn are just as important to us as previous dental experience.

About Us

Barrie Smile Centre is part of the Smile Centre Dental Group, a small but growing group of practices throughout the GTA. This means you'll enjoy the close-knit feel of a supportive local team while also benefiting from mentorship, collaboration, and opportunities for professional growth across multiple locations.

Our philosophy is simple:

  • We treat patients—not insurance.
  • We believe in comprehensive dentistry and helping our patients keep their teeth for life.
  • We support one another, celebrate successes, and believe work should be both rewarding and enjoyable.

What We're Looking For

  • A warm, friendly, and professional personality
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable learning and using technology
  • A team player who enjoys helping others
  • Previous dental administration experience is preferred, but we're happy to train the right individual.

Experience with Dentrix, Dexis, and (Recall)Max Assist is an asset but not required.

Technology

We're a fully digital, paperless office and use:

  • Dentrix Practice Management
  • Digital imaging
  • Automated appointment confirmations
  • Two-way patient texting
  • Virtual consultations
  • Digital patient communication and review systems

Being comfortable with technology and open to learning new systems is important.

Schedule

  • Full-time or Part-time opportunities available
  • One evening per week (Tuesdays until 7:00 PM)
  • No weekends

Why Join Barrie Smile Centre?

  • Positive, supportive team culture
  • Beautiful modern office
  • Amazing doctors and leadership team
  • Ongoing mentorship and training
  • Opportunities for career growth within the Smile Centre group
  • A workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work

If you're looking for more than just another job—and want to build a long-term career with a team that values kindness, collaboration, and exceptional patient care—we'd love to hear from you.

We can't wait to meet you!
