Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated DZ and G Class Driver to join our School Expansion Program and deliver product two days per week in our mobile food pantry program. This vital role involves safely transporting supplies, equipment, and materials to support our expanding educational initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude to help us deliver on our mission of community support and growth. The job hours will begin at 21 hours per week and gradually increae to 40 hours a week for years two and three of this three year contract.

Duties

• Safely operate DZ and G Class vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips
• Communicate effectively with team members and site coordinators regarding schedules and delivery details
• Support warehouse activities such as moving supplies or equipment as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities

Skills

• Valid DZ and G Class driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with moving cargo or equipment
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and partners
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and coordination
• Prior warehouse experience preferred for efficient handling of supplies

Pay: $26.00 per hour
