The Opportunity:

Cadence Leadership is looking for a 360 Writer

The 360 Writer is responsible for conducting 360 assessments from start to finish. This includes initiating contact with clients, coordinating and scheduling interviews, analyzing qualitative feedback to identify key themes and insights, and preparing comprehensive 360 assessment reports. The role requires strong communication, analytical and writing skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality actionable feedback reports. The Writer also serves as an editor for the remining writers, supports onboarding and coaching of new writers, and contributes to departmental development through process improvements, templates, and strategic writing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write 360 Reports

Serve as an analyst and writer for 360 engagements.

- Conduct participant and client interviews.

- Schedule and facilitate interview sessions.

- Write reports and complete qualitative analysis.

- Collaborate with peer editors and coaches on report development.

- Participate in debriefs as a subject matter expert.

- Prepare and deliver final reports to clients and coaches.

  • Assists the Writing Team

Support the performance, onboarding, and ongoing development of writing consultants.

- Conduct onboarding calls and share training documentation.

- Schedule and manage shadow calls for new writers.

- Provide coaching, editing feedback, and performance support.

- Support writers during early-stage training and ongoing development.

- Monitor recurring writing issues and provide corrective guidance.

- Reinforce Cadence communication and report-writing standards.

  • Ensure Quality Control Across Reports

Maintain quality standards and consistency across all outgoing reports.

- Conduct final edits and proofreads on reports.

- Correct inconsistencies and improve structure, tone, and clarity.

- Support writer development through direct editing and reference materials.

- Maintain consistency in report formatting and analysis quality.

  • Assists in developing Training Materials and Writing Resources

Create and maintain resources that support writer development and department consistency.

- Update interview question lists and follow-up prompts.

- Create training guides and writing references.

- Develop communication templates for clients and internal teams.

- Standardize report expectations and writing practices.

  • Support Process Innovation and Departmental Development

Contribute to the evolution of Cadence’s reporting services and intellectual property.

- Develop new report formats such as 180 Reports and Team 360s.

- Identify emerging trends and recommend reporting improvements.

- Collaborate with leadership on department strategy and standards.

Provide writing and editing expertise across company initiatives. Support the Senior Director, Assessment 360 as required.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Strong editorial review and proofreading capabilities

- Exceptional professional writing and editing skills, with strong attention to tone, clarity, and structure

- Ability to translate complex qualitative feedback into clear, actionable insights

- Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences (clients, coaches, leadership)

- Comfortable conducting semi-structured interviews with professionals and executives

- Experience enforcing or developing writing standards, templates, or style guides

- Ability to identify recurring errors and implement corrective systems

- Ability to manage multiple reports and deadlines simultaneously

- Strong client-facing professionalism and discretion

- Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, other)

- Teams for department communication and scheduling.

- Shared OneDrive and training folders for operational documentation.

- 360 tracking spreadsheets for timelines, assignments, and invoicing.

- Email and messaging tools for internal and client communication.

Education and Experience

- Master’s degree (preferred) in English, Organizational Psychology, Leadership, Coaching, Communications, Human Resources, or a related discipline.

- 2+ years of professional writing, assessment reporting, coaching support, qualitative analysis, executive communications, or related experience.

- Experience conducting interviews and synthesizing qualitative feedback into actionable insights.

- Experience editing, mentoring, or supervising writers preferred.

- Must be based in Canada and legally able to work in Canada

Compensation:

  • Salary range $60,000 - $70,000 CAD annually
