The Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee the tasks in recruitment, focusing on building strong connections with top-tier Fintech or payment industry talent. It offers a challenging rewarding experience with clear opportunities for career growth, all within a dynamic and resourceful work environment.
How you will contribute:
- Develop annual and quarterly recruitment plans for technical roles, including product managers and developers, aligned with company goals.
- Collaborate with technical leaders to define job responsibilities and requirements.
- Optimize Canadian recruitment channels, including job boards (e.g., Indeed Canada, Workopolis), social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Glassdoor), and university partnerships.
- Explore innovative recruitment methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct resume screening, initial interviews, and coordinate technical interviews with relevant departments.
- Build and maintain a technical talent pool, regularly updating high-potential candidate profiles.
- Plan and participate in recruitment activities, such as technology forums, campus events, and referral programs.
- Enhance OTT brand within the Canadian technical talent market.
- Track recruitment progress, analyze data, and suggest optimizations.
- Define and monitor KPIs, such as recruitment cycle time, cost, and candidate quality.
- Collaborate with HR teams on other recruitment projects, onboarding processes and new employee integration
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, having working experiences in the Fintech or payment industries, preferably in large payment companies such as Nuvei, Paysafe, Payoneer, Neo Financial, etc.
- Familiarity with recruitment processes and technical evaluation methods for roles such as product managers, frontend/backend developers, and data engineers.
- Proficiency with recruitment tools and platforms like ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to drive cross-departmental collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with sharp market insight.
- High sense of responsibility, resilience, and results oriented.
Office Location and Working Hours: Leslie Street Office, Mon to Fri 900am to 530pm.
