Full job description

  • Seeking Experienced TRAFFIC CONTROL FLAGGERS

This is a Part-time seasonal position; schedules are job specific. (Potential longer season for the right candidates). Must be available for at least 3 days a week, and for occasional night shifts. (7am-7pm or 7pm to 7am)

Pay Scale: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour. Negotiable based on skill and experience.

Duties

  • Direct traffic and ensure safety on roads.
  • Signal vehicles when to slow down, stop, and when it’s safe to proceed.
  • Assist Traffic Control Technician in set-up and take-down of signage, as required.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
  • Must have valid drivers license and vehicle.
  • Experience working with highway and city traffic.
  • Able to work under pressure and able to take on new challenges.
  • Must be physically fit – repetitive bending, lifting, kneeling, walking.
  • Must be able to work out of town and do Night Shift.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All you need to bring is a pair of CSA Approved Safety Boots on your first day – we provide the rest.
  • Own Reliable Transportation for commute to shop/city yard.
  • Able to work full-time, including overtime.
  • Fatigue Management Rules Apply.
