Full job description

Street Tax presents an opportunity for a full-time receptionist to become part of our professional team and provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Street Tax is a growing company that specializes in bookkeeping and personal taxes. As a full-service bookkeeping firm, we are committed to helping local businesses and residents keep their financial records organized and their tax obligations up to date.

Qualifications:

· Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Professional and positive attitude

· Exceptional telephone and customer service skills

· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Proficiency with computers and standard office software

· Previous bookkeeping experience or an interest in learning bookkeeping is considered an asset

Responsibilities:

· Greet clients promptly and professionally, both in person and by phone

· Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar

· Answer and route incoming calls, emails, and inquiries

· Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

· Collect, organize, and distribute client documents

· Process basic payments and provide receipts as needed

· Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming

· Support tax preparers and office staff with administrative tasks

· Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and general office duties

· Assist with small bookkeeping projects, including data entry, document organization, and other bookkeeping support as assigned

Hours:

Monday to Friday – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (37.5 hours a week) plus extended hours during tax season.
