Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about translating complex data into actionable business insights? Data Skill Source is looking for an Advanced Analytics Services Consultant to support one of our fast-growing SaaS clients in launching an AI-powered data interpreter for procurement data.
This is a remote, long-term contract role open to candidates in Canada or the US, offering the opportunity to collaborate with innovative startups and build a ground-up analytics service.
What You’ll Do
- Partner directly with beta customers to scope dashboard and reporting needs, focusing on the metrics their C-suite cares about.
- Use an AI query helper to generate custom dashboards and reports from natural-language questions, then fine-tune them by hand (arranging axes, applying filters, choosing chart types).
- Build advanced views by joining data across multiple objects or incorporating uploaded external files for deep analysis.
- Help customers proactively surface savings and risk opportunities using AI-powered analysis.
- Gather feedback during the beta phase to help shape services scope and delivery ahead of general availability in Fall 2026.
- Support ongoing configuration and implementation of advanced analytics for customers on a continuing basis.
- Work with Product and Customer Success teams to scope each engagement and report to a dedicated lead.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in an operations, business intelligence, analytics, or data science role.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau or a comparable BI tool.
- Background supporting procurement, finance, or another business operations function is highly preferred.
- Experience with AI-assisted or natural-language analytics tools is a plus; SQL proficiency is a plus.
- Comfort working directly with customers, gathering requirements, and managing an engagement from start to finish.
- Strong communication skills; able to translate technical data work into clear output for non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior consulting, agency, or client-services experience preferred.
- A self-starter ready to onboard quickly for a beta launch by late July/early August.
