We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker for vacation coverage to help assist a Female employer with Cerebral Palsy and a Speech impediment with all activities of daily living.

Location:

• Vancouver, BC (Near Still Creek Watershed Pedestrian Bridge )

Shifts and hours:

• Vacation coverage needed for: October 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2026
• Wednesday to Saturday: approximately 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 or 8:00 p.m.

• Ongoing Respite Shifts as needed for:
• Monday and Tuesday: 5:00pm to 10:00pm
• Candidates should be available for these shifts

• Casual Back up shifts may become available for the following shifts:
• 11:00am to 2:00pm or 11:00am to 7 or 8:00pm

Compensation:

• $25.00 an hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

• Daily personal care such as showering, and toileting
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Transfers
• Range of motion exercises/light massage
• Assistance on outings

Required Qualifications:

• Willing to use communication assistive tech as needed
• Willingness to seek out tasks
• Willing to engage in conversation with the employer
• Caregiving experience
• comfortable working around dogs
• Ability to speak Russian, or Ukrainian strongly preferred

Pay: $25.00 per hour
