Full job description

  • Architectural Millwork/Woodwork Installation Manager — $44–$50/hour (Based on Skill & Experience)
  • Location: Norland Ave, Burnaby

About the Role

This is a management position, not an installer role. You'll oversee the installation side of our business, including scheduling, coordinating crews and subcontractors, managing client relationships, and ensuring quality across multiple projects. You'll report directly to our Integrator / COO. You won't be expected to install other than in exceptional circumstances.

Your experience in architectural millwork installation will be essential to your success in this role. You'll know what a realistic schedule looks like, spot problems on site before they grow, and build strong working relationships with the installation teams and subcontractors you manage.

What You'll Manage

  • Scheduling and workflow: Plan and coordinate installations across multiple jobsites, adjusting as projects progress
  • Your team: Assign and delegate work, set expectations, and hold crews accountable for quality and deadlines
  • Site oversight: Visit jobsites to check progress, guide crews, and correct course when needed
  • Problem-solving: Remove obstacles so installs stay on track
  • Clients: Serve as the main point of contact for installation and deliver excellent client care
  • Project documentation: Maintain schedules and records in spreadsheets, organize drawings and photos, and mark up PDFs to communicate intent

What You Bring

  • 4+ years in a supervisory or team management role including managing schedules for multiple projects
  • 5+ years of architectural millwork installation experience, ideally in custom commercial work
  • Proven leadership and a "yes we can" attitude
  • Reliability, organization, and a strong focus on quality and timelines. You know what good looks like, and don’t accept 98% complete as “done”
  • Comfort working on a networked Windows PC (spreadsheets, file management, PDF markup)
  • Willingness to travel to sites, mostly within the Lower Mainland but also across BC from time to time

What We Offer

  • Pay: $44–$50/hour, depending on experience
  • Benefits: Dental, medical, vision, health care spending account, and long-term disability coverage
  • Real authority: Clear expectations and the authority to make decisions
  • Direct access to ownership: Your input is heard and acted on
  • Support: Experienced teammates and the resources you need to succeed
  • Stability: Established in 1984, we're a longstanding company with a steady flow of projects and a strong reputation in the industry.
  • Interesting work: Our projects go well beyond standard cabinetry, with a wide variety of challenging and unique architectural millwork.
  • Balance: Overtime happens, but burnout isn't part of our culture. Our positions are paid hourly, so you'll be compensated for any additional hours you work.
