Full job description

Campbell Architectural Millwork is looking for an experienced joiner/cabinetmaker to join our custom millwork shop team. Our shop produces a wide variety of millwork, from residential kitchens and bathrooms, to commercial office furnishings and reception desks, to restaurant booths and bars. As a subsidiary of Campbell Construction (2021) Ltd we also supply Campbell Construction’s sites with prefab concrete formwork, and other construction site needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Operation of all traditional millwork shop tools (saws, jointers, planers…)
  • Program CNC equipment
  • Operation and maintenance of CNC equipment
  • Cabinet and millwork assembly
  • Cabinet and millwork installation
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Cabinet finishing
  • (AlphaCam, AutoCad, Cabinet Vision)

Qualifications and Skills

· 3+ years’ experience in the construction industry

· Grade 12 education

· Experience with CAD/CAM software (AutoCad, AlphaCam, Cabinet Vision or similar)

· Red Seal in either Joinery or Carpentry (preferred)

  • Proficient at reading shop drawings

· Class 5 driver’s license (preferred)

· Experience with airless and HVLP spray systems

Work Conditions

· Position based out of Campbell Architectural Millwork Shop in the Uptown area.

· Position is fulltime, permanent. 8 hour work day: 7:30 – 4:00

Compensation and benefits

· Competitive wage- $36-$41/hour based on experience and Red Seal, 12% holiday pay

Campbell Architectural Millwork is a Unionized Employer. The successful applicant will be required to join the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 1598. With this union membership you will receive the following benefits-

Pay: $36.00-$41.00 per hour
