Maan Farms is looking for a creative, social media-savvy Content Creator to join our team.

This is a seasonal or contract position running until the end of our busy fall season, with the opportunity to extend based on business needs and performance.

This role is perfect for someone who loves filming, editing, creating reels, following trends, and telling engaging stories through social media. Working alongside our Marketing Manager, you will help create content for Maan Farms’ seasonal attractions, animals, food and beverage launches, U-Pick experiences, events, winery products, and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, film, edit, and post content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Create reels, TikToks, stories, photo posts, and other short-form content that reflects the Maan Farms brand.
• Capture on-site photo and video content featuring farm events, seasonal attractions, animals, food and beverage launches, U-Pick experiences, products, guest experiences, and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Maintain Maan Farms’ current social media posting frequency, content quality, and engagement standards across platforms.
• Write engaging hooks, captions, calls to action, and promotional copy for social media.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, trending audio, content formats, and platform best practices.
• Organize and manage photo and video content for future use.
• Track content performance and suggest new ideas based on what resonates with our audience.
• Respond to comments, messages, tags, and other online guest engagement when required.
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content is timely, accurate, and aligned with current campaigns.
• Be available to capture content during select events, weekends, or busy seasonal periods as required.

Qualifications

• Professional experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Strong understanding of short-form video, hooks, captions, storytelling, trends, and audience engagement.
• Comfortable filming and editing content using a phone, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools.
• Strong eye for visuals, lighting, composition, and storytelling.
• Creative, organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working independently and capturing content throughout an active farm environment.
• Able to manage multiple content needs across seasonal events, attractions, food, animals, and winery promotions.
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, events, food and beverage, agriculture, or agritourism is an asset.
