Job Title: Medical Administrative Officer – Plastic Surgery

Location: Hybrid (work from home, 1–2 day/week in office)

Hours: 20–40 hours/week (part-time with potential to move to full-time once it is busier)

About the Role

We are looking for a Medical Office Administrator to support a plastic surgery practice. This is a hybrid role with mostly remote work and once a week (possibly twice) in-office visits. You’ll help manage patient scheduling, records, and communication to keep the practice running smoothly.

Main Duties

• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Handle referrals, pre- and post-op paperwork, and follow-up care.
• Communicate with patients about appointments, instructions, and care.
• Work with hospital systems and surgical facilities for coordination.
• Keep records up to date in EMR systems.
• Ensure patient information stays private and secure.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in a medical office, ideally in plastic surgery or orthopedics.
• Ability to commute 1x (with potential for 2x) to the physical office in Brampton.
• Able to work independently from home with own computer and phone.
• Must be confident using computers and open to learning new medical and office programs.
• Comfortable using: EPIC, William Osler System, PCIS/Citrix, SeamlessMD, CabMD, Arya EMR (Familiarity with William Osler, PCIS/Citrix, SeamlessMD, CabMD, or Arya EMR is an asset, but we welcome applicants without prior experience in these softwares who are motivated to learn.)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear communication with patients and healthcare team
• Attention to detail and strong initiative to solve problems on own

Pay: $20.24-$25.00 per hour
