Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook/Kitchen Staff to join our busy restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to our recipes and standards, ensuring a high level of food quality and safety. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Candidates should have a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly to meet health regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
  • Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation before serving
  • Support the team in meal assembly during busy hours to ensure timely service
  • Follow all food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of shortages or expired items

Experience

  • Previous experience of one year in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic cooking techniques is a plus
  • Familiarity with meal preparation and food industry practices will be advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and learning
  • Food handler certification required.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
