Full job description

Wilco Contractors Southwest is hiring experienced Skilled Labourers for our Civil Construction, Earthworks, Utility, Underground Pipe, and Landscape Divisions.

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Assisting with various Construction skilled labour tasks.
  • Work duties may include; Raking and Shoveling, Spotting Equipment, Material Moving, Flagging, assisting with Geogrid stabilization, Pipe installation/Underground work, Utility Labour work, Paving stone and Masonry, Laying sod, Planting, Pruning and Maintaining trees/shrubs, helping Carpenter/Concrete Trades, etc...
  • General Construction/Landscape housekeeping and site cleanup.

Qualifications and Requirements;

  • Previous construction or landscape labour experience.
  • Must be able to work 6 days per week 10-12 hours per day
  • Possess a Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation - Must have your own vehicle, as projects are not accessible by transit.
  • Positive attitude with an attention to safety.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must demonstrate ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Valid safety tickets.

Expected hours: 55.0 – 75.0 per week
