Our clinic is located in the Pemberton Valley, just north of Whistler.

The Practice

We have built a strong reputation within the community and maintain a loyal client base that values thorough, compassionate care. Our team emphasizes collaboration, efficiency, and a supportive working environment. Our doctors work with a high level of autonomy and are supported by a capable team. The role is well-suited to a veterinarian who is comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of their cases.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in small animal clinical practice
  • Confidence in routine soft tissue surgery and general anesthesia protocols
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including case workups and ongoing case management
  • Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging and laboratory results (radiography, bloodwork, cytology)
  • Ability to manage appointments independently, including medical record keeping and billing
  • Comfort performing hands-on technical skills (e.g., venipuncture) when required
  • Strong organizational skills, with consistent and thorough medical record keeping that meets professional and regulatory standards
  • Clear, professional, and empathetic communication with clients
  • A collaborative approach to working with veterinary technicians and support staff
  • Sound medical judgment and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of care
  • Interest or experience in mixed animal medicine (considered an asset but not required)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience
  • Health & Dental Benefits
  • Continuing education allowance and paid CE days
  • Professional dues and licensing coverage
  • Flexible scheduling with a focus on sustainability and work-life balance
  • VIN / Plumbs / CoVet paid membership fees
  • No weekend or on-call work
