Full job description

Syndicate Transport is an asset based, full truck load carrier providing service throughout Western Canada. We are headquartered just outside of Calgary in Rocky View County. Operations including dispatch and customer service are maintained 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at both Calgary and Edmonton branches. A specialist in the grocery and retail industries, we offer a full range of services including Tractor/Trailer (dry, reefer, tri-axle, multi-temp), Long Combination Vehicle (LCV), tractor only, and shunting; all with late model equipment.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced truck drivers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles in a safe manner for approx. 10-12 hours a day.
  • Pickup and deliveries to warehouses and retail outlets.
  • Abide by and follow provincial and federal motor vehicle acts.
  • Complete daily pre/post-trip truck inspections.
  • Monitor cargo, ensure load security and temperature compliance.
  • Perform all other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 License with a minimum of 2 year of Class 1 driving experience.
  • Clean 3-year commercial driving abstract.
  • Must be willing to load/unload and be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Must be willing to do local and highway runs.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules; weekends and night shifts included.
  • Must be bondable.
