Store: West Edmonton Mall

HYBRID ROLE: Must be available to work in the store as a barista

Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays for the barista role.

Position Description

Reporting to the I.T. Manager and above, the position is responsible for Snappy POS, Internet Connection and installations, Debit and Credit Machines, and all related technological areas of the organization. They are also responsible for fostering an inclusive, passionate, energetic, and welcoming working environment and help co-workers to constantly grow and improve.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Must be available to work as a barista.

· Barista duties include: making bubble tea, taking orders, throwing out the garbage, mopping the floor, cleaning, prepping fruit

· Assist with I.T. tasks for new store openings, including setting up internet, POS systems, kiosks, and other related technologies.

· Manage technology services that meet operational necessities in all aspect of Real Fruit Bubble Tea Inc.

· Serve as the I.T. liaison with RFBT administration to understand and interpret I.T. concerns and to collaborate across lines in meeting those needs.

· Coordinate with the store and regional managers of I.T. operations, projects, and programs, ensuring alignment of I.T. services with the business needs and adherence to established project management principles and best management practices.

· Provide technical support on a variety of highly specialized project-related activities requiring expertise in specific areas for information technology systems and services.

· Deliver appropriate personnel actions and educational and training programs to ensure high quality professional staff performance in the I.T. area.

· Participate in the documentation and implementation of policies and standard operating procedures consistent with the company.

· Participate as a member of the I.T. team in planning, problem resolution, and reviewing department performance.

· Keep up-to-date with the latest relevant knowledge of information technology systems and techniques.

· Will be required to travel to store locations.

· Other job-related duties as assigned.

Expectation of Successful Candidate

· Previous experience in the food industry is an asset

· Knowledge and understanding of the current and developing strategic information technology

· Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology

· Knowledge of POS systems, preferably in the food industry sector

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

· Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities

· Strategic planning and advanced leadership skills

· Ability to provide strategic guidance and instructions to all levels of employees in the assessment and development of existing and/or proposed systems

· Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
