Full job description

Casual Part time position for a medical office receptionist

Duties include:

  • Schedule patient appointment and diagnostic test
  • Answering and placing telephone calls, relaying telephone calls and messages
  • Scanning and file documents into EMR. EMR used is Accuro
  • Perform other clerical duties as required

Requirements:

  • Completion of post secondary education
  • Medical office assistant/ Medical Receptionist diploma is an asset
  • Demonstrate good work ethics, professional, dependable and reliable.
  • Excellent phone manners and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Available to work mornings and afternoons ( no later then 5pm)
  • Must have excellent computer knowledge , must have experience with electronic medical records (EMR ) and preferable experience with Accuro EMR
  • This position is casual approximately 8 to 15 hours a week or more to cover holidays
  • Must be able to work in our Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Welland location
