Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, blueprint reading, and various construction techniques. This role involves working on residential, commercial, and restoration projects, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment to deliver high-quality framing solutions. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing projects.
  • Construct, install, and repair building frameworks including walls, floors, and roofs using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
  • Perform concrete forming and finishing as required for specific projects.
  • Handle siding installation and restoration work to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
  • Operate heavy machinery safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning large materials.
  • Engage in welding and woodworking tasks to create custom components or reinforce structures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met with quality workmanship.
  • Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in carpentry or construction work with a focus on framing.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
