Full job description

The Welder / Fabricator is responsible for interpreting technical drawings, fabricating structural components, and completing welding operations to specification. This role works under the direction of a Foreman and contributes to field projects requiring precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow direction from the Foreman and complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
  • Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies according to project requirements
  • Perform tack welding and final welding using electric, gas, arc, MIG, and other welding processes
  • Conduct fabrication processes including forming, fitting, cutting, and assembling structural components
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and applicable code requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $31.97-$44.10 per hour

Experience:

  • Welding: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Drivers License (required)
  • MEWP Certificate (required)
  • Fall Protection Certificate (required)
  • Confined Space Entry and monitoring Certificate (required)
  • Fit Test (required)
