At Diversified Machine Works we are committed to providing our employees with the tools they need to excel in their roles and thrive in a dynamic work environment. As welder, you will play a critical role in executing fabrication projects that meet our high standards of quality and safety

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIANCE

  • Must hold a valid CWB Certificate in FCAW, SMAW
  • 5+ years of experience in a fabrication shop required
  • Self-motivated individuals, with strong attention to detail, who take pride in producing quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a TEAM efficiently, and safely in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Welding of Carbon steel Using GMAW, FCAW, MCAW, SMAW (some Stainless Steel)
  • Read, interpret and work off drawings
  • Fit and tack projects of all sizes, schedules and material grades
  • Material preparation such as flame cutting, grinding, gauging, and plasma cutting
  • Operate overhead cranes
  • Comply with Quality and Safety standards
  • Be an active participant in the company’s safety program
